Tenders will be received at this Office, till Noon of Wednesday, the 2nd October, for the making up and supply of the undermentioned Clothing for the use of the Staff of Victoria Gaol; namely:-

64 Serge Jackets.

50 pairs Serge Trowsers.

And also for the making up-of material to be supplied by Government-of

14 Cloth Jackets.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any Tender.

The Plan and Specification can be seen, and further particulars learnt, at the Office of the Surveyor General.

A proper Form of Tender can be obtained at this Office.

It is hereby notified for general information that henceforward the Postage on Letters addressed to Russia, when marked to be forwarded viâ Southampton, will be reduced to 40 cents per half-ounce.
