Spar buoy established off Kiushan Point.
NOTICE is hereby given that on or about the 16th instant, a Black spar buoy will be placed to mark the Eastern edge of the Cooper Bank in the neighbourhood of Kinshan Point.

NOTICE TO MARINERS.
TEMPORARY LIGHT AT ISHIKARI.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Light from Ishikari Lighthouse on the West bank of the mouth of the Ishikari River will be withdrawn on the 7th of this month (September) for its rebuilding, and at the same time a temporary Light will be exhibited during the operation.
The temporary Light is as follows :-
Position -at the distance of 117 feet, N. 50° W. from the former Lighthouse.
Height of Light :--30 feet from the base, and 38 feet above the water.
Character of Light :-Fixed White Light.
Illuminated Arc :--same as previous.
Distance visible :-6 nautical miles in clear weather.`
