NOTE.-In every case, one Boat must be a properly fitted Life-boat and one a Long-boat. The sizes of the Boats will be in accordance with the number of Passengers carried. 20. Each ship shall carry one Life buoy for every one hundred Passengers, also a Fire Engine, or Force Pump, with sufficient Hose to reach fore and aft, and three dozen Buckets.
