the House hereinafter mentioned, that is to say, No. 2, Albany Street, was on the Twenty- seventh day of August. 1875, pursuant to Section XXIII of the above Ordinanec, declared by me under my Hand and Seal of Office to be an Un- licensed Brothel.

NOTICE.

WHITTALL in our Firm ceased on the 30th April, 1875.

Mr. WILLIAM PATERSON was admitted a Partner on the 1st May last, and we have autho rized Mr. JOHN RELL IRVING and Mr. JAMES JOHNSTONE KESWICK to sign our Firm,

and SABINO REIS ROZARIO, carrying on NOTICE-WILLIAM COCHRANE EDWARDS, THE interest and responsibility of Mr. JAMES business at Vietoría, in the Colony of Hongkong, under the firm name of Edwards Rozario & Co., Accountants and General Agents, and the said Sabino Reis Rozario carrying on business at Victoria aforesaid, during the years 1872, 1878, and 1874, under the firm name of " Frisby & Co.," having been adjudged Bankrupts under a Petition for adjudication of Bankruptcy, filed in the Supreme Court of Hongkong, in Bankruptey, on the Sixteenth day of August, A.D. 1875, are hereby required to surrender themselves to the Honorable William Hastings Alexander, the

of their Creditors, to be held before the said Registrar, on the First day of September, A.D. 1875, at Eleven of the clock in the forenoon of that day precisely, at the said Court.

The Honorable William Hastings Alexander is the Official Assignee, and Messrs. Stephens and Holmes are the Solicitors acting in the Bank- ruptcy.

A public sitting will hereafter he appointed by the said Court for the said Bankrupts to pass their final examination and to make application for their discharge, of which sitting notice will be given in the Hongkong Government Gazette.

At the first meeting of Creditors, the Registrar will receive the proefs of the debts of Creditors, and the Creditors may choose an Assignee or Assignees of the Bankrupts' Estate and Effects.

Notice is also hereby given to all persons in- debted to the said Bankrupts, or that have any of their Effects, not to deliver the same but to the Official Assignee.

Dated this 21st day of August, A.D. 1875.
