PROCLAMATION.
By His Excellency JOHN GARDINER AUSTIN, Administrator and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hongkong and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same.
Whereas the Cominands of Her Most Gracious Majesty The QUEEN, conveyed through the Right Honourable The EARL OF CARNARVON, Her Majesty's Principal Secretary of State for the Colonies, have been received, approving of and confirming the following Ordinance; namely:-
No. 1 of 1875, entitled-An Ordinance enacted by the Governor of Hongkong, with the advice of the Legislative Council thereof, to provide means for enforcing good order, and discipline in the Police Force employed in the Royal Naval Yard:
Now, therefore, it is hereby declared, that the said Ordinance has been so approved and confirmed, as aforesaid.

The Supplementary Appropriation Bill for 1874 is read a second time, committed and passed, bearing the Title of An Ordinance enacted by the Governor of Hongkong, with the advice of the Legis- lative Council thereof, to authorize the Appropriation of a Supplementary Sum not exceeding One hundred and Fifty thousand Dollars to defray the Charges of the year 1874,-being No. 5 of
1875.
