OTICE is hereby given that a Petition
was on the 25th day of October, 1920, presented to this Honourable Court by the above-named company to confirm an extension effected by a special resolution of the company of the said company's objects proposed to be (unanimously) passed at an extraordinary the unimously confirmed at an extraordinary the 8th day of September, 1920, and subsequent- general meeting of the said company held on

"That the objects of the Company be altered by the addition to clause 3 in the Memorandum of the Company immediately after paragraph (m) of the paragraphs following that is to say:-
(n) To lend money to such persons firms or companies and on such terms as to the Company may seem fit and expe- dient, and, in particular, to customers and others having dealings with the Company.
(0) To give any such guarantee or indem- nity on such terms and upon such security or no security as to the Com- pany may seem fit and expedient. and that the objects of the Company be extend- ed accordingly"
And notice is further given that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Chief Justice on Monday, the 22nd day of November, 1920, at 10.30 o'clock in the forenoon and any person interested in the said company, whether as creditor, or otherwise, desirous to oppose the making of an order for the confirmation of the said alteration under the above Ordinance should appear at the time of hearing, by himself or his counsel, for the purpose, and a copy of the said petition will be furnished to any such person requiring the same by the company's solicitors, Messrs. Wilkinson and Grist, of No. 9, Queen's Road Central, Hongkong, on payment of the regulated charge for the same.
