POLICE NOTIFICATION.
Permission is given, under Ordinance 10 of 1872, for Crackers to be fired between 4 PM. on the 5th February, and 9 P.M. on the 6th February, 1875.
After 9 P.M. on the 6th, the Police will have strict orders to summon or arrest persons firing Crackers.

Tenders will be received at this Office, until Noon of the 1st proximo, for the repairs of the Public Road and Seawall between Pokfoolum and Aberdeen.
The Specification may be seen on application at the Surveyor General's Office, where a proper Form of Tender may also be obtained.
The Governinent will not bind itself to accept the lowest, or any Tender.

The Owners of the Horses now on Stone Cutter's Island are requested to remove them before the 1st February, 1875; after that date, Horses found there will be destroyed.

NOTICE.
W. M. DEANE, Captain Superintendent of Police.
It is hereby notified to all parties who may be desirous of storing Gunpowder in the Government. Depôts that under the provisions of Section XVI of Ordinance No. 4 of 1867 some increase of the charges hitherto made is contemplated, and that all parties storing after this cate will be liable to increased charges.
