Les heures sont données en temps moyen astronomique.
Les hauteurs sont exprimées en décimètres et comptées à partir du niveau des plus basses mers possibles; ce niveau est situé à 1 mèt. 90 cent, audessous du niveau moyen.
Les marées de Do-son sont en avance d'environ une heure sur celles d'Haï-phong; leur amplitude est la même.
N.B.-D'après les derniers sondages, il y a, aux plus basses mers, 3 mètres sur la barre extérieure du Cua-cam et 2 mèt. 50 cent. sur la barre intérieure.
