NOTICE.
And notice is hereby given that all persons having objections to the granting of such letting must send their objections in writing to the Colonial Secretary before the expiration of a period of one month from 18th September, 1920, in order that the same may be duly considered by His Excellency the Governor in Council.
No. S. 249.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Lease of Crown Land known as Kowloon Marine Lot No. 83, as a whole (containing about 166,873 square feet) or in two parts (containing about 96,873 square feet and 70,000 square feet respectively)", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Saturday, the 25th day of September, 1920, for the lease of the whole of that parcel of ground or parts thereof for a period of three years but subject to certain conditions which can be ascertained at the Office of the Director of Public Works.
Each tender must be accompanied by a receipt to the effect that the tenderer has deposited in the Colonial Treasury a sum of two hundred dollars ($200) as a pledge of the bonâ fides of his offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if the tenderer refuses to carry out his tender and comply with the above-mentioned conditions, should the tender be accepted.
Possession of the whole area or the part thereof marked A on plan cannot be given until after six months from the date of the acceptance of the tender.
Form of tender and further particulars can be obtained from the Office of the Director of Public Works.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the highest or any tender.
No. S. 250.-It is hereby notified that the following Sale of Crown Land by Public Auction will be held at the Offices of the Public Works Department on Monday, the 4th day of October, 1920, at 3 p.m.
