CHINA-EAST COAST.

FORMOSA STRAIT.

DANGEROUS DERĖLICT JUNK REPORTED.

NOTICE is hereby given that a report has been received that a large drifting, water- logged, derelict junk was sighted in the Formosa Strait on the 11th July, 1920, in latitude- 24° 10' N., longitude 118° 36' E.

The junk was dismasted, and her hull was showing 3 feet above water.

The derelict was reported as being dangerous to navigation.

PITMAN-KING ISLAND (LIUHAISHA).

PITMAN LIGHT-BEACON MOVED.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Pitman Light-Leacon, situated on the northern side of Pitman-King Island, Yangtze River, has been moved, owing to the washing away of the river bank.

From the new position of the Beacon, Pitman-King Island Surveying-beacon bears S. 32° 10' E., magnetic, distant 2:14 miles.

THE WHANGPOO WOOSUNG.

LIGHT-BUOY ESTABLISHED.

REFERRING to Special Notice to Mariners No. 569, notice is hereby given that a black Light-buoy has been established on the eastern side of the fairway in the Whangpoo, abreast of Woosung Creek.

This Buoy, which is to be known as the Woosung Creek Buoy, is moored in 20 feet of water at low water of spring tides and shows a white light occulting every 8 seconds,

thus:-
