Approach to Dairen Wan.
MINAMI-SAN-ZAN-TO (SOUTH SANSHANTAU) LIGHT-STATION. FOG SIGNAL ALTERED.
NOTICE is hereby given that a fog siren has been installed at Minami-san-zan-to (South Sanshantau) Light-station, approach to Dairen Wan.
The siren, which is operated during foggy or thick weather, gives one blast every 34 seconds, thus:-

The responsive fog-gun signal hitherto operated at this Light-station has been dis- continued.
This Notice is issued on information received from the Japanese Government Autho- rities at Dairen.

Salvage of S.S. "Kifune Maru".
REFERRING to Harbour Notification No. 3 of 1920, notice is hereby given that the wreck of the S.S. Kifune Maru has been shifted from its former position on the Pootung side of the channel, between the Han-yeh-ping Upper and Lower Wharves, to the Shanghai side of the fairway, and beached off the French Waterworks in 36 feet L. W. S. T.
Her funnel and upper bridge show above water, and four steel lighters are attached to the wreck.
Red flags will be exhibited by day from the salvage complex and, by night, red lights at the ends of the outside lighters.
Steamers are warned not to pass between the wreck and the Shanghai shore.
Salvage operations being still in progress, steamers and launches when nearing and passing the salvage field are to go as slow as possible.
