No tender will be considered unless the person tendering produces a receipt to the effect that he has deposited in the Colonial Treasury the sum of $25 as a pledge of the bona fides of his offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if such person shall refuse to carry out his tender, in the event of his tender being accepted.

For form of tender apply at the Colonial Secretary's Office.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No. S. 164. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for supply and delivery of Strawboard to Prison Depart- ment," will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Tuesday, the 27th July, 1920, for the supply and delivery of Strawboard to the Prison Department for one year from 1st August, 1920, to 31st July, 1921.

Samples of Strawboard may be seen, and further information obtained, at this Office.

No. S. 166.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for road to Shek O", will be received at the Colonial Secre- tary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 19th day of July, 1920, for constructing a 20-foot road from Taitam Gap to Shek O and Cape D'Aguilar, 1st Section.

No work will be permitted on Sundays.
