THE following telegram has been received from the Ministry of Marine, Bangkok :-- “Steamboat sunk Bangkok Bar Channel. Position from outer lightship North
25° East 500 metres. Wreck dangerous to navigation."

Shanghai District Yangtze River.
North Channel Entrance-Buoy to be established.
Tsungming, Crossing --Buoys to be moved.
NOTICE is hereby given that on or about 10th May, 1920, the following changes will be made in the buoyage of the North Channel Entrance to the Yangtze River and the Tsungming Crossing :-
A black Light-buoy, showing a white light occulting every 8 seconds, thus:---

4 seconds, 4 seconds,
will be established on the southern side of the North Channel Entrance to the Yangtze River. From the Buoy, Liuchiao Beacon (surveying beacon) will bear about N. 25° W., distant 2:34 miles. This Buoy will be known as the Liuchiao Buoy.
The East Entrance Buoy will be moved about 9 cables N. 72° W. from its pre-
sent position, its characteristics remaining unchanged.
The West Spit Buoy will be moved about 5 cables S. 42° E. from its present
position, its characteristics remaining unchanged.
All bearings given are magnetic.
