NOTICE is hereby given that the report has been received from Fukuoka Prefecture, in which the character, power and visibility of the light of Wakamatsu Lighthouse, on the end of Breakwater of Wakamatsu Harbour, Province of Chikuzen, will be changed as follows since the 1st of April:

Wakamatsu Lighthouse.

Character of light :-Acetylene gas occulting red, duration of light 3 seconds

and of eclipse 3 seconds.

Power :-300 candles.

Visible distance:-10 nautical miles in clear night.

NOTICE is hereby given that the report has been received from Ibaraki Prefecture, regarding Isohama-ko Breakwater Lighthouse on the end of E. Breakwater of Isohama- ko, Province of Hitachi, which had been temporarily extinguished (see Notification No. 773, September, 1917, and No. 1509, December, 1918, of Department of Communications), will be permanently withdrawn hereafter.

W. Coast of Hokkaido.

NOTICE is hereby given that the report was forwarded by Hokkaido Government, in which the following Temporary Lighted Buoy had been moored by the same government since the 2nd of April, 1920, for the purpose to show the dangerous boundary for navi- gating vessels during the construction of S. Breakwater of Rumoi Harbour, Province of Teshio.

Rumỏi-ko Temporary Lighted Buoy.

Description:Wooden frustum of pyramid painted red, supporting a lantern. Height of light:-9 shaku above the water.

Character of light :-Acetylene gas fixed white light.

Illuminated are :---'

Power:

The whole horizon.

10 candles.

Visible distance-2 nautical miles in clear night.

Depth of water:About 73 fathoms at L. W. S. T.

Remarks:-This Buoy, being moored inside of the end of the breakwater con- structed already extending about 24 cables north from Rumoi-Zaki, will be gradually moved along the prearranged line which will be extended toward N. by E. from the present point as the work progresses.

The boundary about 1 cable towards the prearranged line will be dangerous to navigate.

In case an accident occurs to the light it will be shown with 2 fixed red lights underneath.
