Notice is hereby given that the report has been forwarded by Toyama Prefecture regarding the candle power of the Light of Uwozu Lighthouse, at the mouth of the River Kado, Province of Yetchu, has been increased to 6,000 candles since the 1st of February.

Notice is hereby given that the following report has been forwarded by Ehime Prefecture regarding Mitsugahama-Kō Temporary Staff Light, on the extreme end of W. breakwater of Mitsugahama-Kō, which had been erected by Mitsugahama-Chō, Province of Iyo. The light will be shown on and after 21st of February, 1920.

Mitsugahama-Ko temporary staff light.

Position-Lat. 33° 51′ 56′′ N., Long. 132° 42′ 21′′ E. (According to Japanese Admiralty Chart No. 141.)

Description :--Wooden staff, white.

Height of light :-8 shaku above the base, 141 shaku above the water.

Character of light :----Fixed red.

Illuminated arc :-The whole horizon.

Power-About 4 candles.

Visible distance :--2 nautical miles in clear night.

The light being unwatched, should the light go out by accident there may be some delay in relighting it.

W. Coast of Hokkaido.

NOTICE is hereby given that the report has been forwarded by Hokkaido govern- ment relating to the following Temporary No. 1 Lighted Buoy moored by the same government, on the 1st of February, on behalf of, Otaru-Ko Temporary Lighthouse which was destroyed (see notification No. 100 of Department of Communications), at the same time, the last Otaru-Ko Temporary Lighted Buoy, on the end of No. 1 Breakwater has changed its name to Otaru-Kō Temporary No. 2 Lighted Buoy,

Otaru-ko Temporary No. 1 Lighted Buoy.

Position: The end of No. 2 Breakwater.

Description: Wooden frustum of pyramid, black, surmounted by a spherical top- mark with a fixed green light each on both sides.

Height of Light :--8 shaku above the water. Illuminated are:---The whole horizon.

Visible distance :--2 miles in clear night.

Depth of water:-About S fathoms at L. W. S. T.
