PROPOSED TERMS OF THE SALE AND CROWN LEASES.
1. In consideration of the terms agreed upon and upon completion of the reclama- tion of the Lots to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works, it is proposed to grant Crown Leases of the whole of the areas coloured red on the said plan and having an area of about 9,780 square feet, 8,080 square feet, 6,314 square feet, and 6,590 square feet respectively for the term of 75 years, (renewable on the usual term of 75 years at a re-assessed Crown Rent) commencing from the date of a letter signed by the Director of Public Works notifying the Lessee that the Lots are at his disposal.
2. The leases will be subject to and contain all Exceptions, Reservations, Covenants, Clauses, and Conditions usually inserted in the Crown Leases of Inland Lots in the Colony of Hongkong; the leases will also specify the purposes for which the lands are leased (ie., whether for the purpose of reclamation, building dwelling houses, factories, or godowns for the storing of coal or other goods, or whether for any other purpose) and shall contain a proviso that in the event of the lessee, his executors, administrators, and
