Survey of Steam Ships of 50 tons and upwards.

V. This section shall apply:-

(a.) To all British steam ships being within the waters of the Colony which have not been surveyed in the United Kingdom or in any British possession within the

pre- ceding twelve months under the provisions of "The Merchant Shipping Acts, 1854 to 1876," "The Passen- gers Acts of 1855 and 1863," or any legislative enact- ment for the time being in force in any British posses-

sion.

(b.) To all vessels of 50 tons and upwards propelled by steam plying within the waters of the Colony, whether for hire

or not.

(c.) To all steam ships registered in this Colony under sec-

tion III of this Ordinance.

2. Such steam ships shall be provided as follows, that is to Equipment say:

(e) Every steam ship employed to carry passengers by sea shelter for
