NOTICE.

Applications for Passage Brokers' Licences for the year 1880, under Ordinance No. 5 of 1874,

will be received at this Office, from the 11th instant, up to the 31st instant.

Applicants are requested to state the names and

addresses of the parties they offer as sureties.

Section VI is published for the information of Passage Brokers, from which it will be seen that no person other than a licensed broker can sell or let

passages in any Chinese Passenger Ship. No person

shall act as a Passenger Broker, or

"in procuring passengers for, or in the sale or "letting of passages in any Chinese Passenger
