some of the Government Notifications are insert-

ed herein, but it is to be understood that in case of variance in the sense of the English and Chi- nese versions, the sense of the English text must

be considered as correct.

GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.

HONGKONG SUBSIDIARY SILVER COINS.

Notice is hereby given that these Coins, of the

respective values of 20 cents, 10 cents and 5

cents each, can be obtained at par by application

to the Colonial Treasurer.

will be issued to each applicant in the following

proportion, viz.:--
