to direct that the 2nd of June, being Whit Monday, be observed as a Holiday in the Govern- ment Offices.

It is hereby notified, that Ships conveying

Chinese Passengers under the provisions of Ordi- nance No. 5 of 1874, will not be allowed to carry them on the Upper or Weather Deck between

the 1st of June, and the 15th of October, inclusive.
