tions of this Treaty, provided notice to that effect is given within a period not later than six months after the rifications of the Treaty, and the pro- visions of this Treaty shall not apply to any British Colony or foreign Possession of Her Bri- tannic Mty which shall have given such notice. In witness whereof, the undersigned Plenipo- tentiaries have drawn up the present Protocol in duplicate form, to which, after it had been duly read, they affixed their signatures.
