約一度二十一分四十二秒英國中線東約一百度五十分三十秒 撤去於未撤之先楣上挂一紅旗爲記以防失誤 一該燈船在緯度北約三十八度五十三分經度中國中線東 激移方向至無足爲示引之處將舊照之燈撤去更換小紅常明燈兩個分排於檣之首尾至楣上籃球行 樣桅上悄有黑丝藍球一個徑六尺八寸 一該燈船於下霧時每一分鐘時鳴鑼一次 一該燈船倘被風衝 高之處係有白光明小燈一個爲指明船首方向 一該燈船身係紅色兩旁以白色書有洋文 TAKU 大沽字 一燈船上用透鏡白光常明燈燈火距水面三丈二尺晴三十里 一該船撐桅前繞上相距船欄五尺 深十四尺之處設有大沽燈船一隻自燈船觀攔江沙外之紅色警船浮爲北三十六度四十五分西相距約十里 外現設有燈帶一隻合將其情形度勢開列於左 計 一大沽北河口外於七月二十二日在朔望潮落時水 總稅務司赫 憲融行以沿海沿江建造燈塔浮樁事或係創設或宜改移或有增添或須裁撤營造既有變更 務卽隨時彰明出示通曉各處俾得行海船隻周知偏等因兹本總營造司查津海關稅務司所界内北河口

« Taku” Light-vessel.

Notice is hereby given that on the 27th instant the Taku Light-vessel, showing a fixed nwhite light, was moored in 17 fect at low water spring tides, with the red Entrance Buoy bearing N. 36°45' W., and distant 3 nantical miles.

The Light is a dioptric one, elevated 374 feet above the , and in clear weather it should be visible from a distance of 10 nautical miles.

A small white light is exhibited from the forestay, at a *eight of 6 feet above the rail, for the purpose of showing ! what direction the vessel is riding.

The Light-vessel is painted red, with the word “TAKU”

In foggy weather a gong will be sounded at one-minute intervals.

- If the Light-vessel be driven from her proper position to one where she is of no use as a guide to shipping, the asual light will not be exhibited, but a smali fixed red Eight will be shown at each end of the vessel; the ball

will be struck as soon as possible, and till struck it will be

-armounted by a red flag.
