Police Magistrate," and by adding at the end of the section the words "Punishments imposed under this section shall be valid for all purposes notwithstanding the expira- tion of the period for which the offender was originally sentenced to imprisonment by lawful authority."

IV. Section 13 of the same Ordinance is hereby amended, by omitting the words "and no such punishment shall be inflicted until after the expiration of 12 hours after the prisoner shall have been sentenced thereto under the two sections next preceding.”
