Foreign Attachment, dated the 6th and

returnable the 20th of December, 1882, has been

issued against all the Property moveable or im-

moveable of the above named Defendant within

the Colony of Hongkong, pursuant to Section 82

of Ordinance 13 of 1873.

of Association, the General Agents, with approval of the Consulting Committee, will, on 1st January, 1883, issue Interest Warrants of $5 per share, payable at the Hongkong and Shanghai Bank, the same being at the rate of 10 per cent. per annum on the paid-up Capital of the Office for the year 1882, and notice is hereby given that in order that the same may

be adjusted the Transfer Books of the Office will be closed from the 18th to 31st instant, both days inclusive.

CANTON INSURANCE OFFICE IN LIQUIDATION.

HAREHOLDERS are hereby notified that, a Fourth Dividend of $84.35 per Share, and Final Bonus of 7 1% on Contributions, has been declared payable from the Profits of the Office. Warrants for which will be issued on the 30th day of November. Further that on surrender of Scrip Certificates the Liquidators will refund to each Shareholder the balance of Capital and Reserve Fund attaching to his interest in the Office by payment of a Fifth and Final Dividend at the rate of $277.77 per
