GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.-No. 329.

Notice is hereby given that applications for refund of Police and other Rates are to be made in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance 12 of 1875, Section 32, to the Supreme Court, Summary Jurisdiction.

When such applications, instead of being made to the Supreme Court as prescribed by law, are addressed to the Officer Administering the Gov-

ernment, they will, as a rule, not be granted

except subject to a reduction of 5 per cent.

It is hereby notified that a List of the Tenements valued for the year 1883, under the

provisions of Ordinance No. 12 of 1875, will be

open for inspection at the Treasury for Fourteen

Days, commencing upon Tuesday, the 7th instant.

As most of the Tenements have been re-

numbered recently, persons inspecting the List

will please note that the old numbers appear on the List.

Persons wishing to inspect the List are re-

quested to apply to the Honourable the Colo-

nial Treasurer between the hours of 10 A.M. and 4P.M.
