No. 524.—It is hereby notified that Mr. LI SHAP YAT of No. 7 Lee Yuen Street West, Victoria, Hongkong, carrying on business under the style of Li Wong Ki, has com- plied with the requirements of Ordinance 6 of 1898, for the registration in this Colony of his Mark No. 72 of 1907, as applied to Varnish for furniture, in Class 50; and that the same has been duly registered.

JAMES BUCHANAN & Co., LIMITED, of the Black Swan Distillery, 26 Holborn, London, England: of 14/16 Bothwell Street, Glasgow and of Glentauchers-Glenlivet Distillery, Mulben, Speyside, Scotland: Whisky Distillers and Blenders. have complied with the requirements of Ordinance 6 of 1898, for the registration in this Colony of their Mark No. 73 of 1907, as applied to Whisky, in Class 43; and that the same has been duly registered.

HOLBROOKS LIMITED, of 203 Ashted Row, Birmingham, England, Manufacturers, have complied with the requirements of Ordin- ance 6 of 1898, for the registration in this Colony of their Mark No. 74 of 1907, as applied to Substances used as food or as ingredients in food, in Class 42; and that the same has been duly registered.

It is hereby notified that TELEGRAPHONE CORPORATION, organized and exist- ing under the laws of the State of Maine, United States of America, and having a place of business at No. 32 Nassan Street, New York, State of New York, United States of America, having, by assignment, become entitled to the Letters Patent of the 23rd July, 1900, registered in this Colony in the name of VALDEMAR POULSEN, in respect of an Invention for Method of and Apparatus for effecting the storing up of speech or signals by Magnetically influencing Magnetisable Bodies, have, in pursuance of an order by His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government-in-Council, been registered as the proprietors of the

said Letters Patent.
