The following Notice from the Acting Registrar General, under the Contagious Diseases Ordinance, 1867, is published for general information.

THE CONTAGIOUS DISEASES ORDINANCE, 1867.
It is hereby notified that the part of the house hereinafter mentioned, that is to say, the First Floor of No. 36, Cochrane Street, was, on the 16th day of May, 1881, pursuant to Section 23 of the above Ordinance, declared by me under my Hand and Seal of Office to be an Unlicensed Brothel.
