With reference to the Colonial Treasurer's letter of the 9th ultimo, respecting the proposed blishment of a Casual Ward for destitutes, published as a supplement in this day's issue of the ament Gazette, His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint the following gentlemen constitute a Board for the further consideration of the subject and for report thereon :-

The Honourable the Colonial Treasurer, (Chairman).

The Harbour Master or the Acting Harbour Master. The Captain Superintendent of Police.

The Superintendent of the Gaol.
