With reference to Government Notification No. 251 of the 16th June, 1885, it is hereby notified› that ALFRED BULMER JOHNSON, Esquire, having returned to the Colony, His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint ALFRED GASCOYNE WISE, Esquire, Acting Registrar of the Supreme Court, to be a Member of the Commission appointed to revise the Laws and bag Pi Ordinances of Hongkong, during the absence of the Honourable E. L. O'MALLEY.
