No. 430.-His Majesty the KING has been graciously pleased to issue a Mandate authorizing the Consecration of the Reverend CHARLES RIDLEY DUPPUY, M.A., to be a Bishop, to the intent that he should exercise his functions in one of His Majesty's Posses- sions abroad.

No. 431.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. EDWARD LEWIS AGASSIZ to act as Assistant Crown Solicitor until further notice, with effect from the 18th August, 1920.

No. 432. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint LAM KWUN Yau (★★ H) to be a "Forest Officer" for the control and superintendence of the forests of the Colony, in succession to NG KAM SHING () resigned, with effect from the 20th August, 1920.

Order and appointment made by His Excellency the Governor under sections 5 and 6 of the Coroner's Abolition Ordinance, 1888, Ordinance No. 5 of 1888, this 19th day of August, 1920.
I, Sir REGINALD EDWARD STUBBS, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George Governor and Commander in Chief of the Colony of Hongkong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same do hereby by virtue of the powers rested in me by section 5 of the Coroner's Abolition Ordinance, 1888, Ordi- nance No. 5 of 1888, order that the Naval Hospital in this Colony be set apart as a suit- able place for the reception of dead bodies of persons belonging to His Majesty's Navy or any of the Naval Establishments in this Colony who are not recruited locally for the purposes of section 5 of the said Ordinance.
AND I do further by virtue of the powers vested in me by section 6 of the said Ordinance appoint the Medical Officer in Charge for the time being of the said Naval Hospital to be a Medical Officer for the purposes of section 6 of the said Ordinance.
