No. 426.-It is hereby notified that, on the application of JoAN HERMAN COOLIASS, of Victoria, in the Colony of Hongkong, the Marine Superintendent, or Nautical Inspector, of the Java-China-Japan Line of Steamships, His Excellency the Governor in Council has been pleased to direct that the said JOHAN HERMAN COOLHASS may use and publish in the Colony for a further period of three months from the 7th day of August, 1920, an invention for Improvements in apparatus for releasing life-buoys at night-time without. prejudice to the Letters Patent to be granted for the said invention.

No. 427. It is hereby notified that, on the application of ROBERT BAKER, of Kowloon, in the Colony of Hongkong, Civil Engineer, His Excellency the Governor in Council has been pleased to direct that the said ROBERT BAKER may use and publish in the Colony for a period of six months from the 12th day of August, 1920, an invention relating to an improved rail fastening adjustor and an improved concrete sleeper without prejudice to the Letters Patents to be granted for the said invention.
