No. 301. It is hereby notified that the Public Bathing Beaches at North Point and Kennedy Town were opened to the Public on the 15th instant. A reserved enclosure is provided at the former, for the use of which a fee of 10 cents per person is charged.

No. 302. The following notice with regard to sums due to British nationals on derman Government securities is published for general information.

SUMS DUE TO BRITISH NATIONALS ON GERMAN

GOVERNMENT SECURITIES.

The attention of British nationals resident in foreign countries who are holders of securities issued by the German Government is directed to article 296 of the Treaty of Peace, clauses 3 and 4 of which article provide that the following pecuniary obligations shall be settled through the intervention of Clearing Offices in Great Britain and Germany :—

Clause 3. Interest which has accrued due before and during the war to a national of one of the Contracting Powers in respect of securities issued by an Opposing Power, provided that the payment of interest on such securities to the nationals of that Power or to neutrals has not been suspended during the war.

Clause 4.--Capital sums which have become payable before and during the war to nationals of one of the Contracting Powers in respect of securi- ties issued by one of the Opposing Powers, provided that the payment of such capital sums to nationals of that Power or to neutrals has not been suspended during the war.

British nationals resident in foreign countries who have claims of this nature which have not already been notified to the Public Trustee should apply to the Controller of the Clearing Office (Enemy Debts), Cornwall House, London, S.W. 1, for the necessary form on which to submit their claims. British nationals who have already notified the Public Trustee should await a communication from the Controller.

To the Owners of Lots Nos. 15, 24, 387, 388, 411, 412, and 413 in Survey District 1.

No. 303.-It is hereby notified, under section 4 of the Crown Lands Resumption Ordinance, 1900, Ordinance No. 10 of 1909, that His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to nominate Mr. HENRY THOMAS JACKMAN to be a member of the Board of Arbitrators to determine the amount of compensation to be paid in respect of the resumption of the said Lots Nos. 15, 24, 387, 388, 411, 412, and 413 in Survey District I.

In the event of your failing to nominate a member to represent you on the said Board within seven days from the date of publication of this notice, the Chairman of the Board will appoint a person on your behalf.

No. 304.-It is hereby notified that, at the expiration of three months from the date hereof, THE CHINA ENLIGHTENMENT COMPANY, LIMITED will, unless cause is shewn to the contrary, be struck off the Register and the Company will be dissolved.
