No. 227. It is hereby notified by command of His Excellency the Governor that an election by the Justices of the Peace of a Justice of the Peace to serve on the Legisla- tive Council from the 6th May to the 15th October, 1920, during the absence of the Honourable Mr. HENRY EDWARD POLLOCK, K.C., will take place at the Registry, Supreme Court, on Wednesday, the 5th day of May, 1920, commencing at 1 o'clock in the after-
noon.
The ballot-box will be closed at 5.30 p.m.
Justices of the Peace who are Government officials are not entitled to take part in these proceedings.
Every candidate must be nominated in writing by one Justice and seconded by another and the nomination delivered to the undersigned not later than the 30th April,
1920.
Forms may be obtained at the Magistracy.
