No. 212. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Major CHRIS- TOPHER WILLSON, O.B.E., to act as First Clerk, Magistracy, in addition to his other duties, with effect from the 8th April, 1920, and until further notice.

No. 213. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. ARNOLD HACKNEY HOLLINGSWORTH to act as First Assistant Director of Public Works during the absence on leave of Mr. THOMAS LUFF PERKINS or until further notice, with effect from the 17th April, 1920.

No. 214. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. HENRY THOMAS JACKMAN to act as Second Assistant Director of Public Works, in addition to his other duties, during the absence on leave of Mr. THOMAS LUFF PERKINS or until further notice, with effect from the 17th April, 1920.

No. 215. His Majesty the King has been pleased to approve the appointment of the Honourable Mr. STANLEY HUDSON DODWELL to be an Unofficial Member of the Legis- lative Council vice Mr. ROBERT GORDON SHEWAN resigned, with effect from the 1st January, 1920.

No. 216. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. G. T. EDKINS, Mr. DONALD OSCAR RUSSELL, and Mr. JAMES WILLIAM GRAHAM to be Members of the Committee to enquire and report on the question of the development of the economic resources of the Colony of Hongkong, during the absence from the Colony of Mr. Ross THOMSON, Mr. ANDREW BEATTIE, and Mr. ROBERT MORTON DYER respectively, and Mr. HAROLD GREEN to be a member of the said Committee vice the late Mr. WILLIAM JAMES TUTCHER

() and LI SHAN () to be "Forest Officers" for the control and superinten-

dence of the forests of the Colony.
