3. In the case of musical works to which this Order relates and provided that no contrivances by means of which the work may be mechanically, per- formed have before the commencement of this Order been lawfully made, or placed on sale, within the parts of His Majesty's Dominions to which this Order applies, copyright in the work shall include all rights conferred by the said Act with respect to the making of records, per- forated rolls and other contrivances by means of which the work may be mechanically performed.

4. This Order shall apply to all His Majesty's Dominions, Colonies and Posses-

sions with the exception of those hereinafter named, that is to say :-

The Dominion of Canada;

The Commonwealth of Australia; The Dominion of New Zealand;

The Union of South Africa ; Newfoundland.

5. Nothing in this Order shall be construed as depriving any work of any rights which have been lawfully acquired under the provisions of the Copy- right Act, 1911, or any Order in Council thereunder.

6. This Order shall take effect as from the 2nd day of February, 1920, which

day is in this Order referred to as the commencement of this Order.

And the Lords Commissioners of His Majesty's Treasury are to give the necessary orders accordingly.

It is hereby notified that the Governor in Council having decided that the resumption of the property registered in the Land Office as Kowloon Inland Lot No. 106, Section K, s.s. 1, and Kowloon Inland Lot No. 106, Section J, s.s. 2, is required for a public purpose and private negotiations having, in the opinion of the Governor, failed, the said property and all rights easements and appurtenances thereto belonging or appertaining will be resumed by the Crown on the expiration of four months from the publication of this notice and thereupon such compensation in respect of such resumption will be paid as may be awarded in the manner provided by the Crown Lands Resumption Ordinance,
