No. 149.—His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Lieutenant- Colonel and Brevet-Colonel LAWRENCE HUMPHRY, C.M.G., R.A.M.C., to be a Member of the Sanitary Board with effect from the 12th March, 1920, vice Lieutenant-Colonel G. B. CRISP, R.A.M.C., resigned.

No. 150. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. GEOFFREY ROBLEY SAYER to act as Head of the Sanitary Department with effect from this date and until further notice.

No. 151.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. PERCY BURN to act as Deputy Registrar and Appraiser, Supreme Court, with effect from this date and until further notice.

No. 152. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. DAVID WILLIAM TRATMAN to act as Colonial Treasurer and Collector of Stamp Revenue until further notice, with effect from the 22nd March, 1920.

No. 153. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. ROBERT OLIPHANT HUTCHISON, M.B.E., to act as First Police Magistrate and Coroner until further notice, with effect from the 22nd March, 1920.

His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, under section 9 of the Liquors Consolidation Ordinance, 1911, Ordinance No. 9 of 1911, the Honourable Mr. ARTHUR GEORGE MURCHISON FLETCHER, C.B.E., to be Chairman of the Licensing Board during the absence on leave of the Honourable Mr. CLAUD SEVERN, C.M.G., LL.D., or until further notice.

Order made by His Excellency the Governor under section 2 (1) of the Prison Ordinance, 1899, Ordinance No. 4 of 1899.

It is hereby ordered that a portion of the land and buildings known as the Quaran- tine Station at Lai Chi Kok, New Kowloon, be set apart for the purposes of a prison under the above Ordinance.
