An Ordinance to modify certain provisions of the Treaty of Peace Order, 1919, for the purpose of adapting the provisions of the Order to the circumstances of the Colony of Hongkong.

BE it enacted by the Governor of Hongkong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Treaty of Peace Order, 1919, Ordinance, 1920.
Short title.
2. For the purpose of adapting the provisions of the Modifications Treaty of Peace Order, 1919, to the circumstances of the of the Treaty Colony of Hongkong, the said Order shall be read and of Peace construed as if the substitutions set forth in the Schedule Order, 1919. hereto had been made in the said Order.
3. There may be established in the Colony of Hong- Power to kong a local clearing office under the control and establish management of such person (hereinafter referred to as the a local Controller) as the Governor may appoint for the purpose, clearing and there may be attached thereto such officers and servants as the Governor may determine, and there may be paid to the Controller and to such officers and servants such salaries or other remuneration as the Governor may determine.
