I, FRANCIS HENRY MAY, Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Officer Administering the Government and Commander in Chief of the Colony of Hongkong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same, do hereby signify my consent to the proposed increase of the Capital of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation from ten millions of dollars to fifteen millions of dollars subject to the provi- sions of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Ordinance 1907.
