THE HONGKONG GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, 24TH MAY, 1890.

13. All proceedings under this Ordinance shall be in the name of the Registrar General.

14. The service of any notice under this Ordiuanco shall be deemed sufficient and valid if such notice be left or served by any person generally authorized by the Registrar General in that behalf at the last known place of abode or business of the person mentioned therein, and all acts and things required by this Ordinance to be exccuted and done by the Registrar General may under his control and supervision be executed and done by any person duly authorized by him for that purpose.

15. This Ordinance shall not come into operation unless and until the Governor notifics by proclamation that it is Her Majesty's pleasure not to disallow the same and there- after it shall come into operation upon such day as the Governor shall notify by the same or any other proclamation.
