With reference to the proposed Bill entitled The Widows' and Orphans' Pensions Ordinance,

published in the Hongkong Government Gazette of the 18th ultimo, members of the Hongkong Civil Service who are desirous of joining the fund are requested to forward their consent in writing to the Honourable the Colonial Treasurer, from whom all information on the subject may be obtained.
