GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.-No. 331.

Separate tenders will be received at this Office until Noon of Friday, the 31st July, for :-

1. Rearing Trees in situ.

2. Making Tree Pits and Planting Trees.

For form of tender apply at this Office.

For specification and further particulars apply at the Office of the Botanical and Afforestation Department.

No tender will be received unless the person tendering produces a receipt to the effect that he has deposited in the Colonial Treasury the sum of $25 as a pledge of the bona fides of his offer, which sun shall be forfeited to the Crown if such person shall refuse to carry out his tender should the tender be accepted.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
