The Honourable T. H. WHITEHEAD gave notice of the following resolution :--
That the Government publish in the "Government Gazette" or lay on the table a list of the Wharves, public und private, in respect of which a sum of $180,000 was added by the Government to the cost of the Praya Reclamation, as appears from the Colonial Secretary's letter of the 19th February, 1889, to the Honourable C. P. Chater, and state the amount of compensation assessed in respect of each.
BILL ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE MEANS FOR ASCERTAINING THE AMOUNTS TO BE PAID BY WAY OF COMPENSATION IN RESPECT OF THE WHARVES AND PIERS ALONG THE LINE OF THE PRAYA RECLAMATION, TO FIX THE PERIODS FOR THE PAYMENT THEREOF AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES IN CONNECTION THEREWITH."-The Attorney General moved the first reading of the Bill.
