The Director of Public Works, (The Honourable FRANCIS ALFRED COOPER), President. The Acting Registrar General, (The Honourable ALEXANDER MACDONALD THOMSON). NATHANIEL JOSEPH EDE, Esquire.

ABSENT:

The Captain Superintendent of Police, (FRANCIS HENRY MAY, Esquire), Vice-President. The Colonial Surgeon, (Dr. Pшilip Bernard CHENERY AYRES, C.M.G.).

Minutes. The minutes of a meeting held on the 28th day of September, 1893, were read, amended and confirmed.

Mortality Returns-The returns for the weeks ended the 30th September and 7th October, 1893,—which had been circulated to Members-were laid on the table.

Prosecutions. List of prosecutions instituted by the Acting Superintendent from 1st to 28th September—which had been circulated to Members-was laid on the table.

Adjournment.-The Board then adjourned till Thursday, the 26th day of October, 1893.

Read and confirmed this 26th day of October, 1893.
