SOUTH CHANNEL ENTRANCE TO THE YANGTZE RIVER.
Intended alteration in the Character of Kiutoan Light.
NOTICE is hereby given that on or about the 16th instant the power of the light on the Kiutoan Gas Light-vessel will be increased and its characteristic changed to Occulting, show- ing a fixed white light varied by one eclipse every 17 seconds, thus:—

REFERRING to Notice to Mariners, No. 292 (Special), Notice is hereby given that the power of the Light shown on the Kiutoan Gas Light-vessel has been increased to nine times its former strength, and its characteristic changed to Occulting, showing a fixed white light varied by one eclipse every 17 seconds thus:--
