Notice is hereby given that Captain R. MORGAN, of the British s.s. Feilung, reports that on the 19th instant he crossed, from north to south, a shoal patch, having from 63 to 7 fathoms, fine sand, for about 3 miles and then deepening to 13 fathoms, blue mud, the position of the middle of the shoal in the line where the Feilung crossed it being-latitude 32° 18′ 30′′ N., longitude 122° 27′ E., in which locality the Admiralty Chart No. 1,262 shows from 18 to 20 fathoms.
