EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.
No. 261.
Rule made by the Governor-in-Council, on the 18th day of April, 1907, in relation to Petroleum in Cases under the provisions of Section 6 of the Dangerous Goods Ordinance, 1873, (Ordinance No. 1 of 1873).
The Rule numbered 12 in the Case Oil Rules made by the Governor-in-Council on the 15th day of March, 1906, and published in Government Notification No. 214 of 1906, is hereby rescinded and the following is substituted therefor :--
12. Any vessel having on board more than 20,000 gallons of naphtha or naphtha products shall be ordered by the Harbour Master to leave the waters of the Colony without delay.

No. 262.--The Rules Nos. 10 and 11 of the Rules made by the Governor-in-Council under Section 3 of the New Territories (Regulation) Ordinance, 1899, (Ordinance No. 8 of 1899), on the 2nd day of April, 1907, and published in Government Notification No. 222 of 1907, have been cancelled.

No. 263. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Captain D. MAC- DONALD (Right No. 1 Company) Hongkong Volunteer Corps, to be Major and Second in Command vice Major A. CHAPMAN appointed Commandant, and Lieutenant W. NICHOLSON, Hongkong Volunteer Corps, to be Captain, vice Captain MACDONALD promoted Second in Command, with effect from the 16th instant.

With reference to Government Notification No. 682 of the 11th October, 1905, His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Lieutenant CHARLES BERNARD MULLINS, R.M.L.I., as the Naval Member of the Committee for the Wong-nei-chong and Queen's Recreation Grounds, vice Captain GEORGE CARPENTER, R.M.L.I.
