NOTICES TO MARINERS.
THE following telegram has been received from H. M. Consul at Vladivostock :-
"There will be a shortage in supply of fresh water at Vladivostock during the winter and Russian Authorities request that British ships calling here should be immediately warned to bring sufficient supplies with them."

LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS.

Collinson Reach Barrier Fog Bell.-Temporarily Altered. NOTICE is hereby given that the Collinson Reach Barrier Light Station Fog Warn- ing, viz.:-
'During foggy or thick weather a bell will be struck every 6 seconds"
will be discontinued till further notice.
In place thereof, in response to a steamer's whistle during fog four strokes on a bell will be sounded in quick succession, at intervals of about thirty seconds, and continued till the steamer has safely passed the Light Station.

Yangtze River North Channel. Entrance.
"Drinkwater Point" Light-vessel Damaged by Collision and to be
Relieved by the Light-vessel "Tienching".
NOTICE is hereby given that the Drinkwater Point Light-vessel, moored in the North Channel Entrance to the Yangtze River, has been damaged by collision and will be temporarily withdrawn from her station on or about the 12th November, 1919, and replaced by the relieving Light-vessel T'ienching.
