NOTICE is hereby given that The CONKLIN

MFG. Co., of Nos. 443-447, Huron Street, Toledo, Ohio, U.S.A., have on the 12th day of February, 1919, applied for the registra- tion in Hongkong, in the Register of Trade Marks, of the following Trade Mark:-

in the name of The CONKLIN PEN MFG. CO., who

claim to be the proprietors thereof.

The said Trade Mark has been used by the applicants since November 7th, 1905, in respect of the following goods — '

Fountain Pens, in Class 39.

PETROLEUM Co. (§.C.), LTD., carrying on business in London, Hongkong, and elsewhere, with offices at King's Buildings, Hongkong, have on the 25th day of March, 1918, applied for the registration of the following Trade Mark in the Register of Trade Marks, Hongkong :-

in the name of THE ASIATIC PETROLEUM Co. (S.C.), LTD., who claim to be the sole proprie- tors thereof.

The Trade Mark is intended to be used by the Applicants forthwith in respect of the following goods :-

Petroleum and all products derived there-

from, except soap, in Class 47.

The Trade Mark is limited in colour, the flag being red, the centre circle white and the letter "A black.

Trade Mark No. 3 has been used by the Applicants since 1905, in respect of Sewing Machines and Attachments therefor, in Class 6.

Trade Mark No 4 has been used by the Applicants since 1897, in respect of Agricultural and Horticultural Machinery and parts thereof, in Class 7.

Trade Mark No. 5 has been used by the Applicants since 1894, in respect of Shovels, Spades and Scoops, in Class 13.
