No. S. 236.—It is hereby notified that information has been received from the Military Authorities to the effect that Defence Electric Light Practice will take place at Belchers every Wednesday evening, commencing at 9 p.m.

LAND OFFICE.

No. S. 237.-It is hereby notified that the following Sale of Crown Land by Public Auction will be held at the District Office, Hongkong, at 11 a.m., on Friday, the 19th day of September, 1919.

The Lot is sold for the term of Seventy-five years from the 1st day of July, 1898, with the right of renewal for a further term of 24 years less 3 days at a re-assessed Crown Rent as a Building Lot, subject to the General Conditions of Sale published in Government Notification No. 365 of 1906, and to the Special Condition No. 5 published in Government Notification No. 278 of 1911.

The Purchaser shall pay to the Assistant District Officer for and on behalf of His Majesty the KING within seven days from the date of sale the sum of $9 for and in con- sideration of boundary stones to be fixed by the Director of Public Works.

The Purchaser of the Lot shall pay to the Land Officer, on behalf of His Majesty the KING a fee of $30 upon the execution of the Crown Lease thereof, such lease to be taken up by the Purchaser when called upon to do so by the Land Officer.
