It is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor and Commander-in-Chief, Sir WILLIAM ROBINSON, K.C.M.G., having left the Colony this day on leave of absence, lis Excellency Major-

General WILSONE BLACK, C.B., was thereafter duly sworn in by His Honour the Chief Justice in, the presence of the Executive Council, and assumed the administration of the Governinent.
